Carer of the Month July 2020

This month's Care of the Month award goes to a dedicated carer who goes above and beyond the call of duty to turn his care home into a loving, comfortable place for everyone.

It’s that time of the month again to give a wonderful carer our Carer of the Month award! Last month Punam Gurung from Mont Calm Residential Home claimed the coveted award. Punam had completed over 30,000 logs with Log my Care (even more by now, we are sure!) and thoroughly deserved the award.

However another month has passed and we must crown a new hero. So without further ado, we’re onto our July 2020 Carer of the Month, drum roll please…

The winner is Brian Rooney from Egerton Park Supported Living!

Brian was nominated by his colleague Helen, who was full of praise for his selfless work ethic. Helen was inspired by how Brian really goes beyond the call of duty to make sure that all of the residents at Egerton Park Supported Living are comfortable, happy and always well looked after.

Brian even goes so far as to dig into his own resources to make sure residents get the most out of their days outside of Egerton Park. In Helen’s own words, Brian turns Egerton “house into a loving home” for residents “to thrive and be happy”.

That’s some well deserved high praise!

Congratulations to you Brian

It is clear that Brian continually goes the extra mile to make Egerton Park a happy, kind place for everyone. For that, we salute you Brian.

Well done Brian and everyone at Egerton Park Supported Living! We hope you enjoy your treats.
