We're Taking Our Cybersecurity to the Next Level

We are pleased to report that our team has passed our cybersecurity course! We recently received our Cyber Essentials Plus Certificate of Assurance.

Security is very important to us. We handle sensitive data and take every precaution to ensure that it is stored and protected correctly. However, we decided to go a step further and work with cybersecurity professionals to assess our team’s cybersecurity practices.

Cyber Essentials

Cyber Essentials is a Government-backed scheme that works with businesses to protect themselves against cyber attacks. It was developed by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) to help organisations protect themselves from 80% of the most basic cybersecurity breaches.

We worked alongside their team to put extra checks in place to ensure that our team was operating securely.

Cyber Essentials PLUS

Although we could have stopped there, we decided to go a step further.  We applied for the Cyber Essentials PLUS certification. This is the highest level of certification offered under the Cyber Essentials scheme.

The Cyber Essentials PLUS includes a more rigorous test of our cybersecurity systems. The cybersecurity experts carried out vulnerability tests to make sure that Log my Care is protected against basic hacking and phishing attacks.

We’re happy to say we passed their checks and have now received our Certificate of Assurance!
