Annual subscriptions explained

As part of our new pricing we now have annual subscriptions. Find out what these new contracts mean in detail.

Today, we launched a completely new pricing model for all of our plans. We did it for one reason: to offer you pricing that better reflects the realities of running a care service. Our new model provides more flexibility and makes pricing fairer to everyone.

It also comes with a new option for annual subscriptions for any of our plans. With these annual subscriptions you pay upfront for the next 12 months and get a discount of 2 months for free compared to the price of monthly subscriptions.

So, how do they work?

  • Step 1: Choose your plan and any add-ons you might like.
  • Step 2: Confirm your minimum number of active service users for the upcoming year.
  • Step 3: Pay the discounted price for the entire year.
  • Step 4: Use Log my Care to manage your care delivery.
  • Step 5: Pay any potential pro-rata fees for exceeding your committed threshold (see explanation below).
  • Step 6: After 12 months, the subscription auto-renews; just like with our monthly subscriptions. No need for you to do anything, if you don’t want to.

Why do you need to commit to a number of active service users?

As with our monthly subscriptions, the prices for our annual subscriptions are based on the number of active service users you have. At the beginning of the annual billing period, you will be asked to commit to a minimum number of active clients in order for us to calculate the price to be paid upfront.

If your client count increases above the committed threshold, we will update your committed number  and charge you a pro-rata fee for the additional clients for the remaining time in your annual billing cycle. This fee will be based on the annual rate for the number of service users you now have. If your client count dips below the committed threshold, no adjustments will be made. Hence, the commitment to a minimum number of residents.

Is it possible to change the committed number of active service users?

You can adjust the number of active clients you commit to at the end of each billing cycle. If you do not indicate that you wish to change the committed number before your next annual payment is due, your plan will renew with the same committed number of service users.

Is there a discount on the annual subscriptions?

Absolutely! If you choose to pay annually, you’ll get twelve months at the price of 10 - so basically two months for free. See how much you can save by clicking the show Monthly / Annual buttons on the pricing page.

Is it possible to change plans?

You can upgrade your plan or complement it with an additional add-on at any time. And that’s not all. You don’t have to add your new add-on to your annual plan right away either. You can decide to start off with a monthly subscription for any new add-on or you can also start them on a separate annual subscription, if you wish.

You can also cancel or downgrade your subscription at any point. Your original plan will remain active until the new billing cycle begins. We don’t offer refunds, so always make sure to terminate your subscription before the new billing cycle begins.
