We’ve joined forces with PainChek® to support people who can’t verbalise their pain

We’ve joined forces with PainChek®, to enable care providers to improve their care delivery based on data-driven pain management.

We're delighted to announce that we’ve launched our very first integration! We’ve joined forces with PainChek®, to enable care providers to improve their care delivery based on data-driven pain management.

Our integration means that care providers can now easily access PainChek®'s AI technology through our app to accurately identify pain in individuals who may not be able to verbalise it. This will result in better decision-making at the point of care delivery, keeping person-centred care at the heart of care services.

We chose PainChek® as our first integration because its mission, to give a voice to those who cannot reliably verbalise their pain, is strongly aligned with our own purpose to transform care for society's most vulnerable people.

What is PainChek®?

PainChek® is the world’s first regulatory cleared medical device for the assessment of pain, enabling best-practice pain management for people living with pain in any environment, including those who cannot reliably self-report their pain, those who can, and those who fluctuate between the two. PainChek® is currently being used in over 1,500 aged care facilities, with more than 2,000,000 digital pain assessments conducted to date, and is trusted by thousands of nurses, carers and clinicians.

How will the integration improve care delivery?

Through the integration, pain-related data gets pulled across from PainChek® and into Log my Care, where care staff can view it alongside other care-related information. Thanks to this new partnership, care providers can improve your care delivery based on data-driven pain management by:

  • Improving service user behaviour and comfort thanks to pain management best practices.
  • Quickly reacting to report of severe pain and make informed pain management interventions.
  • Spotting pain patterns and adjust care delivery accordingly.

It's an exciting time at Log my Care – this may be our first integration but it certainly won't be our last! Last year we secured a spot on the NHS transformation directorate assured supplier list and just last month we announced our Quality Partnership with the Professional Record Standards Body (PRSB).

“We are thrilled to be partnering with PainChek® to enhance the care management experience for our users. This integration will give care providers a powerful tool to accurately assess pain, enabling them to deliver even better person-centred care.”                          Sam Hussain | CEO of Log my Care
